How to Register Online for IELTS?

Here is how you can register yourself for the IELTS test:

Visit the IELTS official website.

Select “Register for the Test” from the drop-down menu.

Choose between two tests: General or Academic.

Look through the list of the nearest IELTS centers in Thimphu.

Choose the date and time that are most convenient for you.

Admission Card

You will receive an admission card after paying for the IELTS exam fees one week prior to the test date.

The admission card comprises all of the candidate’s information. At the time of the examination, the candidate must bring their admit card and their passport (both original and Xerox) to the designated center for verification purposes.

You won’t have to wait long for the results of your tests.

If your exam is computer-based (online), log in to your profile within 3-5 days of taking the test, and the results will be accessible.

If your exam is paper-based (offline), you must wait at least 13 days after your test exam.

Important Note: Your online results are not official. At your given postal/email address, you will receive an official Test Report Form (TRF).
